Curried Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
6 small
Chicken breast (halved)
2/3 cup
Plain yogurt
4 cloves
Garlic (crushed)
1 teaspoon
Ground coriander
1 teaspoon
Ground ginger
1 teaspoon
Sesame seeds
1/4 teaspoon
Ground red pepper
1/8 teaspoon
Ground turmeric
3 large
Onions (thinly sliced)
2 tablespoons
Butter
Paprika to suit

Cucumber (chopped & seeded)
Step by Step Instructions
- Remove the skin from the chicken breasts. Place the chicken in an ungreased baking dish (12 by 7 1/2 by 2).
- Mix the yogurt, garlic, coriander, ginger, sesame seeds, red pepper, and turmeric together and pour the mixture over the chicken. Coat both sides. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
- Cook and stir the onions in butter in a skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the baking dish and stir the onions into the yogurt that is still in the dish.
- Place the chicken breasts back into the baking dish and atop the onion & yogurt mixture. Sprinkle the chicken with paprika and bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Sprinkle the cucumber over the chicken before serving.
