Serves: 10
Ingredients
5 pounds
Smoked ham
3/4 cup
Honey (warmed if needed to be runny)
1/2 cup
Brown sugar
1/4 cup
Mustard
1/3 cup
Orange juice
1 tablespoon
Apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon
Chopped fresh rosemary
Or thyme
2 teaspoons
Ground coriander
1 teaspoon
Salt
Step by Step Instructions
- Whisk the honey, brown sugar, mustard, orange juice, herbs, coriander, and salt together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high, then reduce to a simmer and let cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees, put the ham into a roasting pan, and pour the glaze over the ham, ensuring a thorough coating. Loosely tent the ham with foil and cook for 1 hour.
- Remove the ham from the oven, increase the temperature to 425, and baste the ham with the juices from the pan. Uncover the ham and cook for 30 to 45 minutes (basting with the pan juices every 10 to 15 minutes minutes)
- Remove the ham from the pan and allow it to rest for 20 minutes before carving.
